| Site Assessment for Reoccupation (4 Stage Clearance) |
A site assessment for reoccupation must be carried out following asbestos removal; the area is assessed to determine whether they are thoroughly clean and fit for reoccupation. The assessment must be carried out by an independent organisation, which is accredited by UKAS as complying with ISO/IEL 17025. A certificate of reoccupation is issued once the assessment is passed satisfactorily. | Starting from £240+VAT | Personal Air Monitoring | We can provide personal air monitoring to comply with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 (CAR). Monitoring results can be utilised to check background air monitoring to establish fibre concentration before any activity, which may lead to airborne asbestos contamination. The results can be used to ascertain the effectiveness of control measures, whether a control limit is being or is likely to be exceeded so that the appropriate RPE can be selected. The RPE in use needs to be capable of providing the appropriate degree of protection, medical surveillance to support current/future risk assessments. | Starting from £190+VAT | Static Air Monitoring | We provide various types of static air monitoring which comply with (CAR); Background air monitoring, leakage air testing to ensure the enclosure is adequately sealed and reassurance air monitoring may be carried out to confirm that the residual asbestos fibre concentrations are <0.01 f/ml. We hold UKAS accreditation for air sampling and fibre counting. All our air sampling is carried out in accordance with HSG248 'The Analysts Guide' and our in house UKAS procedures. As a minimum standard our analysts hold BOHS proficiency modules. We can also provide stand alone air monitoring and full strategies as part of asbestos project management to ensure a full and thorough approach to removal works.
